Neighbourhood Watch
A network of residents who are alerted to local crimes, scams and cons; who pass this to their neighbours; who know what to be suspicious of and how to feed this to the authorities via the Village Co-ordinator. The most apparently insignificant bit of information can be that which completes the picture for the Police.
For details of the scheme and to know your street co-ordinator, please contact the Village Watch Co-Ordinator – Robert Gilmour on 01543 473578.
For emergency matters (such as crime in progress or particularly agressive callers) call the Police first on 999.
For non emergency matters (such as suspicious persons or intruders) call the Police Non-Emergency number 101

Richard Crosse School
The Richard Crosse Church of England School is situated in Crawley Lane and is a Voluntary Aided co-educational day school with approximately 120 pupils on roll. It is a 3 to 11 Primary School providing a high quality education within a well-balanced and broadly based curriculum for children in their Early Years through to Year 6 and is federated with St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School, Colton. The schools operate under the direction of a single Federated Governing Body.
The school is organised into five classes, which are accommodated both in the main school house, a listed building of great character and interest, and two satellite classrooms. There has been a school building on the same site in Kings Bromley since 1815. Prior to that, a school stood on the opposite side of the Lichfield Road.
We aim to set high standards all round. Children will be given the opportunities to develop themselves to the full, academically, socially, and as members of a caring society. We endeavour to ensure that the children have a secure and stable foundation for their future lives.
The Christian ethos of the school, with its emphasis on personal development and conduct is a vital element in this, and one which gives us stability and assurance in a rapidly changing world.
We are in a strong position to embrace all the opportunities the 21st century has to offer, providing a modern and relevant education whilst maintaining traditional values.
You are most welcome to contact the school to make an appointment to visit us and to learn at first hand how the school works and what we have to offer.
