Hazardous tree removal works

We’ll be carrying out the removal of small sections of trees that have become hazardous and are no longer sustainable. We’ll keep our vegetation clearance to a minimum and only remove what is essential to maintain the safety of our road users. These works will take place overnight between 9pm and 6am on the following dates:

15 September – lane closure of A513 bridge at Alrewas junction.

18 September – full closure of Claymills northbound entry slip road.

19 September – lane closure on southbound carriageway between Barton turn/Station Rd Junction and Doghead Lane junction.

A5132 Carriers Road/Castle Way bridge inspections

From 22 September to 3 October, on weeknights between 8pm and 6am, we’ll a lane 1 closure in place on the northbound carriageway while we carry out bridge inspections. This will be in place between the Claymills junction and the A50 junction.
