We’ll be carrying out essential work to maintain the drainage system on the A38 northbound near Alfreton. Our work will include cleaning, repairs and removing vegetation from the drainage system. The completed work will improve drainage and will continue to provide safe journeys along the A38.
We’ll work overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from 9 June 2025 to 27 June 2025, weeknights only. To carry out our work safely, the A38 northbound will be closed overnight between Watchorn Roundabout and M1 junction 28.
