Planning application for 70 homes in Kings Bromley

Lichfield District Council’s planning committee met to consider a planning application for 70 dwellings at the Council’s Planning Committee on 13 April 2026.

The proposed development is on land between 39 – 55 Lichfield Road, Kings Bromley.

The meeting discussed the issues around flooding at length, as well as the concerns around the numbers of homes, access to local services and the character of the village. The views of many people in the village were also noted.

After much debate the committee voted to reject the application.
