War memorial road update
After much research, we discovered who owns the road

The Parish Council has been investigating who owns road next to the War Memorial in the centre of the village.
It did not originally show on Staffordshire County Council records, but after much work we discovered that it was indeed owned by the County Council. Minutes of a Kings Bromley United Charity meeting all the way back in December 1940 show that the road was offered and accepted by the County.
After discovering all this evidence, we were happy to share it with the County Council Highways team, who have now confirmed that it is indeed their responsibility.
They have assured us that they will update their records, and the road will be included in their regular inspections.
